Instrument Repair Services

Services

GPC means "Good Playing Condition" - a quality "get it playing" repair, done at our shop (you bring to us or we pick up & charge cartage) - fastest & cheapest.

COA means serviced & adjusted so that it "plays like new" - not an overhaul/repad but pretty close - takes longer so of course it costs more.

We also offer a "Make it Work" Service Call, where I come to your school and do minor repairs & adjustments on several instruments at once.

On-site "Cleaning Day"  means just that - your entire instrument inventory cleaned/sanitized, oiled, and adjusted to be ready for the students, all at your school.

=======================================

For large brass instruments - we now offer the "Magnetic Dent Removal System" which can often remove the worst crush effects from badly dented tubas, baritones, etc. without disassembling the instrument - saving time and of course money.

=======================================

For all Services, Shop/Bench Time is $25/hr. in 15-minute increments.

Required parts for repairs include Wisconsin Sales Tax

Our "Make it Work" Service call for your woodwinds & brass but including cleaning/sterilization, done assembly-line style and at your school. We're happy to include your Staff, Student or Parent volunteers who want to learn & participate, which lowers your time & cost.

Please contact me so we can set up a date for the initial instrument survey for your woodwind and brass instruments. I also do percussion repair/tuning, but that may need to be on a separate day from the horn cleaning days.
